After Christmas 2023, Peter Jones was diagnosed with stage 4 oesophageal cancer. Just weeks later, his wife Anne received a breast cancer diagnosis. Then their daughter Claire was told she had breast cancer too.
Three members of one family. All at the same time.
But somehow, this story isn’t just about what they’ve lost it’s about what they’ve held onto. Humour, strength, love, and an incredible will to keep going.
Peter is now part of a charity fashion show called Brave, raising money for cancer support, and organizing a 10-hour spinathon to fundraise for others going through treatment. Claire is recovering from a double mastectomy, and Anne is on hormone therapy.
Their resilience is unreal and they’ve found ways to laugh through even the darkest moments.
